There are four people in the building (at work) who make more money than I do, and they're all clustered around the circulation desk complaining about how much money they [don't] make. While I'm in my office, working. (I overheard them while practically running past them, delivering something to another office in the process of doing my own job in addition to that of someone else's.)
I've obviously made a serious vocational error somewhere along the line.
