half a weekend's worth of photos, sorta

    It was a shitty day after a weekend of lows and highs. I'm not feeling terribly verbal (maybe post-verbal?) but I do have things to communicate, so I will try to accomplish it in pictures. I wish (for the millionth time) that this blog could have a soundtrack, because tonight the featured song would be what's playing right now: "Homeward Bound" by Paul Simon with Willie Nelson. Quirky and charming.

It was a graduation party.

The honoree's son was very skilled at this maneuver.

A very fragile burgundy iris. I was impressed by how "Okeefian" the photograph appeared!
