lesson learned

I need to leave this place. The knowledge came to me tonight in a harsh way--one of those "brick to the face" messages that I sometimes need, and only get when I don't expect to--but probably at the best time. I need to look for something else, someplace else, to be. Now. Before I make it (or allow it to be) impossible for myself to remain even one day longer.
