diary of a loner

  1. how many people other than you have been in your bedroom today? to my knowledge, none
  2. how many different houses were you in today? only mine
  3. how many photo albums do you have? 6, plus a former-wedding album, plus a mid-sized B&T box of loose photos (sigh)
  4. who paid for the computer you are currently using? I did
  5. who last gave you a ride home? probably Matt. It's been a while since I've been out loose
  6. who was the last person you had a real conversation with? Fluffy & G., this afternoon
  7. are your feet touching the floor? Nope - the left is on the caster of the chair and the right is curled up beneath my left leg
  8. have you ever made a collage? Not that I recall. Kinda crafty for me.
  9. do you use parentheses or brackets? Yes, frequently.
  10. which of your friends has the coolest parents? Matt, of course! and I quite liked Heidi's parents when I met them a couple of years ago.
  11. do your initials spell a word? Not hardly. My initials make a sort of pirate-y sound, or maybe a toddler gargling.
  12. do you get rid of your clothes after you stop wearing them or do you keep them in your closet? I throw them away if they are unwearable, give them to Salvation Army if they are re-wearable, or occasionally pass them to a friend/family member if they are practically new and worth something.
  13. has your basement ever flooded? I am sans basement. And, no, my basement has never flooded when I've had one.
  14. if you traded in all of your jewelry would you get over one hundred dollars? Hell yeah! If I traded in only what's attached to my body at this moment I'd clear a grand.
  15. have you been swimming in the past year? No. Realized that yesterday when I found my lonesome swimsuit in the closet, purchased for a weekend getaway that never happened because I was dumped the week before.
  16. were you friends with everyone when you were younger, or were you the outcast? I'm much more the outcaste now than I was when I was younger. I've always been a good listener, which made me very popular.
  17. does it bother you when people put && before every sentence and ;; after? I've never known anyone with that kind of time on their hands.
  18. who did you eat dinner with last night? Just me, delivered by the delicious Chuck.
  19. is there any furniture in the corner closest to you? I'm sitting at my desk, which is the SW corner of the room. There is a CD rack in the NW corner. The other 2 corners have doors attached.
  20. do you have a certain spot where you do your homework? If I'm working at home, it's either on the couch or at the computer.
  21. do any of your clothes have bleach stains? No, but one of my favorite shirts in high school was slowly eaten over the course of a day by a splash of hydrochloric acid.
  22. are there any kleenex in the room you're in? Yes. There is a box under the desk, and one in the bedroom, and one on the shelf in the bathroom, and one under the plant stand in the living room. I don't like having to run for them.
  23. do your grandparents always give you lame presents for your birthday? Not so much. They're all dead.
  24. does your hair excessively fall out? Not excessively. It is a clear indication that I've been present for any period of time, though. I'm not without my risks of detection.
  25. do you think that tom, from myspace, is planning to become a dictator? I don't give one flaky poop.
  26. when was the last time it rained? I dunno. Maybe 9:00?
  27. does it annoy you when people make small talk about the weather? Nah. I'm from Minnesota, eh?
  28. how often do you talk to family on the phone? Every other week or so. I email with my niece about that often. I talk to my brother at least once a year (on the phone! - I talk to him in person about 10 times a year). I'm not a big phone person, despite financial evidence to the contrary.
  29. do you go to school year round? I did during college and grad school. It's been a while.
  30. when is the last time you had a stomach ache? Probably 2/25/08, and not for the best reason to have been sick that day!
