you gotta toss and turn

seems a fair trade to meHeadache. Grumpy. Winding through a philosophical morass. Nothing good will come from this.

"Mony Mony" [the Billy Idol version, from Storytellers] popping up on shuffle, and that picture--a friend's FB profile photo--brought a laugh, though.

  1. if "nothing good will come of this", let it go. I think "letting go" exercises, whether they be of a meditative sort or straight-out prayer, are among the most useful. Sometimes if you look away from a nervous animal, he or she will come to you. The same is true of the dark corners of the mind. In the middle of ironing, a shower, a brisk walk, it will all seem very clear or even very silly.
    Or not. The monsters that don't go away (jealousy, inconsolability, inadequacy, rage, to name a few of my personal favorites) are just there. I love the light-hearted picture of the dark side.
    And my word verification today is "lagst", which may be what I'm feeling, lots of lagst.
