Of all the neoteric inventions to pass through my life, and even considering how often (and for how many disparate purposes) I use my cell phone, my favorite is still my iPod.

that's sort of funny; I was thinking about this earlier today (and I don't generally choose these quizzes with any prior knowledge whatsoever, rather just clicking one at random from my Draft pile). I like to make mix CDs, and I sometimes worry that my friends will think that it's because I think that their musical taste is crap, and that I am deigning to bestow upon them my bountiful musical knowledge. Far from it: my taste is an amalgam of all that I've experienced, most of which comes from exposure through my friends. The mix CDs are a sort of 'celebration' of that, intended more for as reinforcement of that myself than for condescension toward anyone else.
Plus I just really like the songs, or I wouldn't pick 'em. - Have you planned your funeral?

Yes, that's a flip answer. Practically speaking, though, I've got nothing (financially) with which to plan, and if I can't pay, who am I to say? - Show and Tell. What comes to mind first when you see this picture? Or, tell a story if it reminds you of one.
Thanksgiving at Cat & Beast's. While we've dined from much nicer, snootlier service, and while the food hailed from a different genre, this photo has the same sort of 'down-home-y-ness' that I've come to equate with that holiday at their house. Good stuff.
We'll have a powerfully stunning wake for you, if I have anything to say about it. But not for several more decades.
