I tend to be intransigent about things that don't really matter,
and surprisingly flexible about what means the most.
- How much do you worry about your future?
not much. Maybe not at all. I worry about plenty of other things, though, to make up for that lack. Currently, I'm a little concerned that I'm not going to get any sleep tonight because my fucking jerk of a neighbor is playing his music loud again. And it's a LOT louder than it was the last time. - Do you believe that anyone could be perfect?
not hardly. Humans were designed to be charmingly flawed. - Regarding your future, what is the best thing you could hope for?
um, having one? - What's the greatest extent you've gone to help a friend in need?
I don't really know if I've thought about it that way. I've done some things, and lots of people have done lots of really, really important things for me. - What did you do lately that was really brave?
probably nothing worth mentioning in public. - Tell us one thing you wish you hadn't let yourself do.
I sort of wish I'd never even met Nick. Does that count? - Who is the wisest person you know?
Fluffy. - What's the most tasteless joke you've ever heard?
see #6, above. - What does your answering machine / voice mail message say?
if I remember correctly, it's something like this:You've reached [number]. I can't take your call, because I'm out living my life. You know what to do; after the message, leave me a beep.
I hope it quieted down.
ReplyDeleteWouldn't it be nice if we could develop selective amnesia about certain parts of life? Your answer for #8 is pretty funny in it's wryness (?).
its
ReplyDeletegrrr.....
I do wish I could develop selective senses. Amnesia, deafness, etc. It did quiet down, but the night was not terribly restful overall. I am not a fan of that neighbor, for sure.
ReplyDeleteI hadn't noticed the apostrophe, until you pointed it out. :P
Adore your answer to #2
