April 4: borne

English muffin bread-borne strawberry-rhubarb jam has been my lunch of choice for the past few Saturdays. Don't get me wrong: the bread is wonderful on its own, but as a vehicle for the ingestion of that delicious jam (a Christmas gift from D, R & H), it's truly amazing.

   "Is this real?" Last night was a VERY strange night.

   at the moment: none, but I rarely (all right, never) carry cash in my jammies. In my wallet, there's probably $20 or so, plus checks waiting to be cashed for another $65 or so. Really, really need to get to the bank....

   this one will do just fine--particularly after last night. Whew.

   the fourth named person (discounting the neverending telemarketing calls) is a confirmation call from the salon where I get my hair cut.

   the "I like turtles" kid. My standard choice (blegh) is Verizon's 'Serene Tone.'
7. What shirt are you wearing?
   
   it's a very odd, not-me-at-all shirt: light-gray long sleeves poking out of a dark-gray short-sleeved t-shirt. The left sleeve reads "SMU Cardinals" and the front reads "Saint Mary's University." I bought it on a whim from the clearance rack when I was wandering campus a couple of years ago, and it was a fortuitous purchase. I love it!

9. Name the brand of the shoes you’re currently wearing?
   
   Eddie. They are moccasin slippers, and they came from Eddie Bauer.
10. Bright or Dark Room?
    
    I'm currently in a bright room, but I prefer rooms to be dark to match my personality, yo.

    Um, brushing my teeth? Maybe?

    I think there's still one about a half-block up the side street from where I used to live (above SWC). If not, maybe in R-town..?
