1. What room are you in?
   I'm in the living room, sitting on the couch with my feet on the ottoman. I've got a blanket over my legs and the laptop propped on top, my phone on the arm of the couch, and a cup of tea and a glass of water on the side table. I had a flu shot this evening and am doing all I can to limit the damage to only one sore arm.
2. Can you solve a Rubik's cube?
   I can do one side. Though my perceptual ability is fairly well-advanced, it does not flow in that direction.
3. Are you psychic in any way?
   Not that I am aware of. I am sensitive to mood and expression but it probably doesn't go beyond that.
4. What star sign are you?
   I was born a Virgo, but now that the signs have changed I'm a Leo.
5. What's your favorite color?

6. What's your lucky number?
   seven, of course
7. Do you have any chores that should be done now?
   no. It's late; all is dark and quiet.
8. Did you have a cherished childhood teddy bear or other toy?
   I do - and given the chance, someone who used to know me would still try to use it against me
9. What was the last thing you bought from a vending machine?
   on my last trip home, I got a package of peanut M&Ms and a bottle of water from the "good" rest-area in Wisconsin

    7.5-8
11. How many pairs of shoes do you own?
    God alone knows for sure. I have shoes strewn all over between here and the far reaches.
12. If you were prime minister/ruler of the world what laws would you make?
    regard your own, prior to concerning yourself with another's transgressions. Help when you can. Pass left/drive right.
13. If you were a super hero what powers would you have?
    I would read really fast and have perfect recall, write really fast and have exquisite penmanship, and be able to speak in public without spluttering.

16. What was your last dream about?
    erm, it involved an extensive sexual situation with a person with whom I was previously involved, but am no longer (though not by my choice). I am aware of why the dream occurred.
17. What would you do if you won the lottery?
    Square up, make some dents for some others, and head back toward where it all began. Or, if it was a lot bigger than that, I'd head south for at least half the year.
18. Would you like to build/design your own house?
    sure. I'd like a ranch house. A master bedroom, big enough for me and my clothes, facing the back of the house (off-street). A kitchen, nicely laid out, big enough to cook and bake without running into myself or needing to clean mid-stride. First-floor laundry. At least one real guest room. A living room with a quiet spot for my desk and file cabinet off to the side. Closets throughout, and very high-quality windows in a variety of locations suitable for many different types of plants. A finished basement with a pool table and a great deal of clean, organized storage. An attached two-car garage with storage. A fairly large yard (i.e. distance between houses) with mature but either distant or short trees and manageable roots. Non-complex foliage besides - no advanced vegetable or flower gardens or shrubbery to tend. Siding, not brick. Flush entrance (i.e. no, or absolutely minimal, steps) with double-doors and the best locks available.
19. Which form of public transport do you prefer?
    eh. I'm not big on being around other people, in any format.
20. Can you juggle?
    only mentally
