• What shoe size are you?

  In other words--that's an odd way to phrase the question. In the spirit of it, though: I have at least one pair of size 9s, and at least one pair of size 7s. Therefore, I'm likely somewhere in the middle.
• How many pairs of shoes do you own?
  heaven only knows. At this point, I have immediate access to five, plus five pairs of boots. My life is SO HARD!
• How do you know when you're an adult?
  when you're able to put aside your strongest inclinations and do exactly what you don't want to do, because it's the right thing to do or because it's good for someone else. Because putting on your pajamas and curling up with a good book will feel better than anything else in the world, but your friend has been planning the dinner party for a long time and is counting on you to be there. Because you're dying to tell someone about the crazy fun you had over the weekend but your coworker really needs to get the report finished before noon, so you bottle it up until the opportunity arises to tell your story and be respectful of her at the same time. Because there's something bigger than your own self that matters.

  something about houses. Looking at a house and , after going through so many rooms, not being able to find my way out. Opening door after door and never making my way back to the exit. It's all very Freud and blah blah. Let's get this over with already!

  besides buy a whole lot of authentic ninja clothing?!
  
  Build a house. 3 bedrooms. A master bath with a skylight. Heated floors throughout. An actual library, the kind with totally secluded built-in bookcases with no sunlight exposure. Lots of built-in stuff all over the place, in fact. And bow windows.
• Would you like to build/design your own house?
  I really do need to read ahead.
  
  In all seriousness, I think that building a house would be a giant headache and that it would give me ulcers and make me want to die inside every day.

  trains
