- When was the last time you ate too much? a couple of weeks ago, a night out with friends from work. We only had appetizers, but I was terribly, uncomfortably full afterward. I've grown accustomed to eating less at a time, more often--which is really inconvenient sometimes!
- Describe the sexiest person you can imagine: that truth lives in my heart, not out in the world
- What have you seen that's...bizarre? plenty of things. Last week, a guy drove through the parking lot at work with his convertible (top down, natch) filled with quarts of oil. Other than his driver's seat, the entire passenger compartment was full of oil. So weird.
- Are there any stores or brands or products that you boycott? What and why? I have my favorites, and my not-favorites, but I don't think anything rises to the level of "boycott." I just don't get that wound up about things.
- Do you want things to REALLY get out of control? ironic, considering the previous answer. There was an incredibly stupid, petty argument that got heated in a heartbeat, went totally nuts, and ended in the tech version of two phones being hung up, simultaneously. (If not thrown across the room.) Then, naturally, I started crying. At work. Because that's what I do.
But I think there's a reason for this madness, and I believe that it's going to get better. One way or the other. - Are you too tense? sometimes. Other times I'm way too loose and easy-going. Some middle ground would be good here!
- Where would you be without love and bubblegum? uhm? Bubblegum is horrible but love is the only thing.
- Why aren't comic books popular anymore? what rock do you live under?
- Think of one friend (who?): D (of D & D)
- When is the last time you saw each other? it's been a couple of years :(
- Do they smoke? nope
- Do they believe in God? very much so
- When you first saw this friend what was your impression? serene
- Their age? old enough to know better
- The top five things you think they think about? oh my. "Other people," sleep, reading, money, and health?
- Do you say what you mean? sometimes. Kind of like #5 above--there are times when it stays jammed in and ought to come out, and other times when it flows out and should've remained behind the dam where it belonged!
- Do you mean what you say? in the moment, yes. 15 seconds later...most of the time.
- Could you eat meat if you had to hunt it yourself? no
- Order from greatest to least importance: spirituality, creativity, intellect, great body, open-mindedness, magic, great dancer, interesting dresser, wit and cleverness, niceness, stability this is in a romantic partner, I assume? Given some of the selections?
- wit and cleverness
- open-mindedness
- intellect
- creativity
- stability
- magic
- spirituality
- interesting dresser
- niceness
- great body
- great dancer
- Complete the sentence. When a problem comes along, you must: face it
- Pick the two most important attributes for food-- fast, cheap, tasty, healthy tasty, healthy
- What do you think is the best metaphor for romantic relationships?
- Kittens or no kittens, that is the question. the answer is yes
- Is gaining 15 lbs. in a night possible? probably not
- Do you get emotional watching movies? yup
- What makes you feel nostalgic? movies. Photographs. Talking with friends. Just about anything, really. I'm a pretty nostalgic person.
- Do you feel like you've been misplaced? that's the exact word that I used in a conversation with a dear old friend recently. He argued that it wasn't true (or accurate, maybe?) but I still think it's closer than anything else that I can come up with.
- Have you ever fought someone, just for fun? not physically
- What gives you an adrenaline rush? a thousand things that I can't talk about, or really even think about sometimes
- What would you do if you loved someone more than anything else, and you could never have them? get up early, go to work, come home, read, watch movies, go to bed early, sleep badly, and repeat...
- Rank these events in order of best/most exciting to boring:
* drinking and dancing to your favorite music at a club
* taking a walk in the woods and a bath in a stream
* having great sex
* winning the lottery (one mil)
* getting followed home by a stray animal
* meeting someone interesting to talk to
* seeing your favorite band in concert
* seeing a Broadway show
* Halloween- winning the lottery (one mil)--sorry, but the bills are killin' me
- meeting someone interesting to talk to--this is done, thanks
- having great sex--this is done, in a different sense
- seeing a Broadway show--I do so enjoy the theatre
- taking a walk in the woods and a bath in a stream
- Halloween--feh
- getting followed home by a stray animal--not at all a fan of stray animals!
- drinking and dancing to your favorite music at a club--meh
- seeing your favorite band in concert--unless it was a VERY small, intimate concert, I wouldn't be able to do it anymore (migraines are too severe)
- Can you keep a secret? ayup
- Where is the tenderness? hidden so fucking deep that no one, even I, can see it most of the time

- If a ban on all violent video games was put into effect, would you be outraged by this decision? not outraged, but disappointed. There are better uses for our legislative bodies.
- In your opinion, is violence in society inescapable? Why or why not? not inescapable, but more than likely, yes. Inadequate access to health care, particularly mental health care, and a policing system that is both out of date and overtaxed, add up to a lot of violence.
- Have you ever mimicked a violent “action” from a video game you’ve played towards another person, whether it was to harm or just for play? I'm not really the violent video game type...
- Do you believe the violent content in video games influences aggressive and/or violent behavior in younger children? most reputable studies have shown no correlation between cartoon, music or video violence and actual violence against others (or oneself)
- What makes life a bittersweet symphony? the interplay between love and hurt
- Name four things that are AWESOME: bacon, music, hugs, and furry cat bellies
- What's the most creative/funny answer you can come up with for this question: What are you doing? there's nothing more brain-cramping than being told to be creative and funny
- Can you imagine this world going on without you? yep
- Are you the only person who really exists? uh, no
- Is everyone else a figment of your imagination? oh good God no
- Or are YOU a figment of my imagination? you're nowhere near smart enough for that
- Can you prove you exist? How? I think, therefore I am
- What do you have to get off your chest? I've been thinking more about that post to which I alluded a week or two ago. I started writing it on my phone, added a bit here, have a picture or two to include, and should be ready to post soon.
- If you cheated on someone, would you confess to them? I'm out of the cheat-er realm anymore
- Is it true that at least 5 people in this world love you so much they would die for you? I doubt it, in a literal sense. There are at least 5 people to whom I am very important, for sure, though.

- Better movie: Weird Science or Caddyshack? that's so obvious, it's not even a battle
- Who's the big winner? remains to be seen, right?
- What are the 3 funniest movies? Top Secret, Caddyshack, and Death at a Funeral
