- Do you get depressed every time it rains? If yes, why? nope, I love rain
- 'The more you admit that all your actions are robotic, the less robotic you are.' What does Tim Leary mean by this? Do you agree or disagree and why? How much of your actions do you admit are robotic? I think the idea is that if you recognize your limits, you're in better shape than if you're wandering along blithely unaware
- Are we not men? I'm not
- Is it easy to be you? Would being someone else make it any easier? there's no way of knowing how easy it is to be someone else. You only get the one chance.
- Why are sex, religion, and politics such taboo subjects? anything deeply felt can be hard to talk about
- Is there really a difference between republicans and democrats? yes. There is.
- Imagine someone has a great personality, sense of humor, family and job. They also really really like you a lot. Would you consider dating them if they:
...were fat? I've dated people who were bigger than me, but not who didn't care about how they looked. - ...limped? yep
- ...had HIV? I don't think I could do that
- ...were paralyzed in one arm? probably? I can't imagine it would be that big a deal.
- ...had a glass eye? hmm. Good question. I'm not sure.
- ...had only 6 months to live? none of us know how much time we have, of course. But going into a relationship with a definite expiration date? Nope.
- What makes you experience nostalgia? just about everything. I'm really sappy.
- Why are so many things omitted from and lied about in American history text books? history is a story, someone's version. If you think it's all omissions and lies, you ought to write your own.
- Do you drink super caffeinated energy drinks? I've never had an energy drink. It's been ages since I've had anything as strong as Mountain Dew--though I did have to drink canned Pepsi last week and nearly gagged. It's just so revolting.
- Eminem or Moby? meh
- Spongebob or the Animaniacs? ugh
- Why do people rush to grow up, only to wish they were a child again? time stretches and springs back, like a slinky
- Why do people sacrifice their health to obtain money, and then use the money to restore their health? the correlation isn't quite that tight, Don McLean
- Jetsons or Flintstones? either one is fine
- What are you saving up for? a phone
- Would you rather improve your cooking, creativity, body, logic or charisma? charisma
- Is it more important to have strength or speed? strength
- What is your favorite thing to do each day? it depends very much on the day--and my days are very, very different
- When you are driving, do you ever feel like turning the car towards someplace unfamiliar and not coming back? all the damn time. And I anticipate that tomorrow morning is going to be record levels of Fuck This Shit.
- Have you ever gone to lunch at a job and never gone back to the job? nope
- What kind of a dining room set defines you as a person? if there is a dining room set that "defines me as a person," shoot me now
- Kiss, with or without the make up? kissing without makeup is definitely more comfortable, but I can see the appeal of wearing some lipstick or lipgloss when you're first in a relationship
- Madonna or Courtney Love? feh
- Are you down with James Brown? he's become pretty cartoony
- Do you believe in miracles? yeah, kind of. It's hard to dispute some truly mindblowing, otherwise unexplainable things that have happened. And: why not?
- Are you living a lie? yes
- If you had to give up one, would it be caller ID or call waiting? call waiting
- Are you ready to switch to an electric or solar powered car? I'm not entirely convinced that the technology is actually saving the planet. It's kind of like laser eye surgery, which was touted to be a revolutionary improvement when it first came it. And it is, except for the side effects, which in many cases (arguably most) are worse than the initial condition. When the treatment is worse than the cure, or the high tech is more dangerous and costly, and less reliable than the existing tech, then I am not buying in.
- What is the greatest band of the 90's? it's going to take a couple more decades before we can make that determination
- What's the appeal of Ally McBeal? she was the first of her particular breed

that's the trouble I suppose in coming at people with honesty, some times they counter with it
