This is part 4 of "200 (not boring) Questions to Ask to Get to Know Someone Better." It also shows a few new additions to my personal library.
151. If you could do anything, besides what you're doing now, what would you do?
at this very moment, or in general? I'm currently watching a movie, sitting in my living room. considering making some popcorn. Also need to clean the bathroom tonight.
152. What do you regret not doing in the last year?
waiting to say and do important things; not trusting my gut
153. What’s on your bucket list?
no bucket list. If anything, it would say "embrace the whim."

a bookstore. I would work behind the scenes, choosing stock and reading.

see questions #152 and 153, above. Say the words, take the chance, go out on the limb.

no
159. Which famous person in history would you want to spend the day with?
Eamon de Valera

162. If you could magically become famous, would you want to?
only if I could do so invisibly, like for writing a great (albeit obscure) book
163. If you could relive one moment in your life, which would it be?
the last time I saw Chris. Had I known it was goodbye forever, I would have held him for a little bit longer, been a little bit more forthright, and made certain that he knew that he was, and always would be, dear to me.

I set two alarms and wake to the second one
168. What’s the first thing you do in the morning?
dress, breakfast, tea, contacts, brush teeth, work. The process takes roughly 20 minutes. I am not at all looking forward to tripling that upon returning to working from the office.
169. What’s the last thing you do at night?
contacts, brush teeth, hand lotion, bed
170. Do you believe in any conspiracy theories (no judgment)?
do the people who believe in such things realize that they are "conspiracy theories"? Are we not ascribing too much self-awareness to the situation?
171. Do you think iced coffee should only be consumed in the summer or all year round?
what happened to the lack of judgment in the last question? Drink what you like.172. Would you rather be covered in fur or covered in scales?
fur. It might be grossly hot, but the likelihood of cuddles is so much higher! Plus it wouldn't hurt to cover my eyes with my tail when I nap.

there is no one perfect day of the year. Saturdays in fall are hard to beat, though.
174. What’s the most unusual place you’ve fallen asleep?
I fell asleep in the front seat of my car, parked at the make-out spot, with a very good (male) friend asleep in the back seat - during high school. It was "Wake Up, Little Suzy" all over again. By the time we woke up, he had blasted through his curfew by several hours. It was not so much an unusual location as was the situation as a whole.
175. At a party, where can someone find you?
somewhere off to the side, making snarky comments and making my close friends laugh

187. What was your all-time favorite Halloween costume?
of mine? I am not much for costumes. I think it is about honesty.
188. What's the weirdest thing you do when you're alone?
just read and read and read, for hours at a time
189. Do you have any recurring dreams?
yep
190. What's the silliest argument you've ever been in?
that 'unanswerable question' in #157 is the source of some godawful arguments, some of which are so circular that they are, in the end, downright silly
191. What's the worst argument you've ever been in?

Walmart. Or maybe Alabama.
198. Would you rather have your dishes or clothes be magically clean?
clothes
199. What's your favorite story about yourself?
my favorite stories are not about me. I guess there is one, but it is a future story that has yet to be told.
200. If you could change anything about yourself, would you? If so, what and why?
I have a wonderful imagination, but that sometimes manifests as an Olympic-level skill at jumping to conclusions. I would be willing to trade some of the former for less of the latter, or at least the ability to tamp it down in one direction.
[from here; the title quotation is by Thomas à Kempis, and translates as: Everywhere I have sought peace and not found it, except in a corner with a book.]
