like I'm a good-hearted slob with boundary issues
2. Do you engage in activities to escape your reality?
yup, like reading, watching movies, writing, and travel when I can
3. What do you think you could never, ever give up?
loss is survivable. You might not want it to be, but you're given a choice - to go on or not.
4. Do you believe every thought you think?
to disbelieve one's own thoughts is to creep ever closer to psychosis
5. Who (or what) always makes you laugh?
one of my colleagues strongly dislikes my boss. Like, even more than I do. Her imitations of him are priceless.
6. Was there a turning point in your life?
yes.
7. How do you spend the majority of your time?
working or sleeping
yes. At the moment I'm inspired by the idea that I don't have much cash in my account and need to pay a startling number of bills. I'm inspired by a weird conversation about nail polish color names and raunchy greeting cards on a recent evening. I'm inspired by vodka, kitties, long hugs, plant sales, and great naps.
9. Are you good at being in the present moment?
no
10. What was the last thing you purchased?
a cat toy and a salad
11. Do you often remember your dreams when you wake?
yes
12. What’s on your to-do list that never gets done?
writing my death letter
13. Would you move to another country?
I'm not vehemently against it but have never felt a strong urge, either
14. How would your best friend describe you?
sensitive, bright, and blue-eyed
15. Do you consider your childhood a happy one?
yes
16. When did you last feel disappointed?
late Monday night
17. Do you have any (or many) guilty pleasures?
yes
18. How do you feel when faced with change?
depends on the change. Some of it is awesome!
19. What do you think happens when you die?
what difference does it make? No one will ever be able to know that for certain, and it's going to happen to all of us eventually, so why not just find out when we get there?
20. Do you believe in giving second chances?
second, usually. Infinite, no.
21. What is your greatest strength?
my thighs
22. Do you always say what’s on your mind?
not hardly.
23. How do you cope with stress?
walk, nap, write
24. What would you tell your younger self?
God, where to begin....
25. How often do you learn new things?
every damn day
