I refuse to join any club that would have me as a member

1. Who do you take for granted?
not sure that I take anyone for granted? I try not to, anyway.

minis
2. Short, knee, or ankle skirts?
short, but knee will do in a pinch

3. Do you wear a hat?
rarely, though I'm trying to be better about it when I'm out in the sun. It can be hard not to burn to a crisp with this skin tone.

4. Who's your favorite cartoon character?
Dave the Minion
Dave the Minion. He has an attitude and he's a flirty little cutie.

5. Does break dancing impress you?
not especially. I'm not offended by it or anything - it just isn't my cup of tea.

6. Are you a miracle?
    sure

7. Have you ever eaten tofu?
yes, I went through a phase where I thought healthy eating had to involve stuff like tofu. It was a waste of time and money. There is plenty of other healthy food that I enjoy.

8. Does the moon have an effect on your mood?
I like to look at it sometimes, and it's pretty. Other than that, no.

9. Many people will say that the Harry Potter books are pure fluff with no literary value. Do you agree?
I think it's crap, but that doesn't matter—that series served a great purpose, which is to get lots and lots of children, young adults, and adults reading, in a big way. That's cool.
But I'd still rather read porn....

10. What are you doing next Wednesday?
getting my migraine shot, trying to get blood from a stone (i.e. cash from the guy who's owed me money for 12 years), and preparing to possibly do some pet-sitting!

Elvis - alive
11. Why do so many people think Elvis is still alive?
no one likes to believe sad things, or shocking things, or things that damage their perspective of the world. Elvis meant a lot to a lot of people, representing something in their lives. A rite of passage, a milestone, a link to a memory.

12. Are your hands cold?
    yup

13. Have you ever given blood?
    not on purpose

14. What sci-fi books do you read?
I suppose the most well-known is William M. Miller, Jr.'s A Canticle for Leibowitz

15. Have you ever belonged to a sorority or a fraternity?
God, no. See the title quotation (from Groucho Marx), for a pithy explanation.
