a serious and good philosophical work could be written consisting entirely of jokes

How would an extra $1000 a month change your life?     an extra thousand a month would save my life.
What things in life should always be free?     emergency room visits for actual emergencies, internet access, and public library services
What is your favorite time of the year?     the two weeks each in spring and autumn when we can turn off the AC or heat (or both)
What is something you have always wanted since you were a kid?    cool, expensive, well-fitting and flattering jeans
What is the most recent dream you remember having?     tormented dreams lately. Really bad, swirling, and uncomfortable. I wake up more exhausted than when I went to bed, and if I try to think about the dream after I wake, I get headachy and disoriented. My subconscious is kicking my mental butt, and I don't like it!
What confuses you?     complex board game instructions, which can blow my mind in no time flat. Elaborate and rigid structures can be hard for me to understand anyway, because my brain works best by trying to find alternative solutions. Playing the first couple of rounds or hands "up" - so everyone can see the thought processes and preferences - is the only way for me to really get it.
In what way are you your own worst enemy?     oh, just eating or sleeping, and sometimes thinking
When did you not speak up when you should have?     when I've been picked on or underestimated by someone who knew better
Whose is your favorite fictional story?     Scott & Fran's, from Strictly Ballroom
Where or who do you turn to when you need good advice?     depends what kind of advice I need. Different friends or family have more insight into various aspects of life.
What artistic medium do you use to express yourself?     photography and writing
Who or what is the greatest enemy of mankind?     technology. I am exhausted by the adulation of technology "improving" communication when really it does the opposite. How many conversations or meals or meetings have you had in the last year that have been dominated by the other person obsessing about their phone? (or you, yourself?)

[from here; the title quotation is by Ludwig Wittgenstein]
