What’s the funniest movie you’ve ever watched? Top Secret, for a variety of reasons, kills me every time. I also particularly like The Rundown and anything featuring Charlie Chaplin.
Would you start doing recreational drugs if they had absolutely no negative side-effects? this is a silly question. The negative side effects are part of the charm of recreational drugs. The danger figures strongly in the appeal, for those who partake.
Do you get invested in “your team” winning when it comes to the Olympics and other big competitions? God, no. I sometimes like to watch, briefly, but it has less to do with who wins than seeing people doing what they love, well. It's mindboggling, what inspires people to excel.
Do you know what you want to do with your life? no, not yet
What kind of stuff do you daydream about? being happy. That sounds melodramatic, but it's true. The distance between being actively happy and just missing the boat is so terribly small.
Have you ever seen a trainwreck? only the metaphorical kind
What is the most inspiring thing you have seen someone do? I once saw a 20-something woman break up a fistfight between two teenage guys. I thought it was brave and a little crazy. Both of the kids started to cry (manfully of course) while she hollered at them for being stupid.
Did you ever consider joining the Army? God, no. I am lazy, a little messy, and VERY attached to sleep.
What’s the first movie you remember watching? Rikki Tikki Tavi - which scared the bejeezus out of me. Being the youngest meant sometimes seeing stuff that was not age-appropriate.
