civilized people don't put on airs; they behave in the street as they would at home, they don't show off to impress their juniors

What positive changes have you made in your life recently?     I stopped buying a particularly irresistible food indulgence.
What makes you feel good about yourself?     making my friends laugh, making my family smile, or making a cat purr
What is your biggest regret?     that I've wasted so much time and money on things that don't matter, which has left me unable to do some things that are infinitely more important and meaningful. I have way too much stuff, and wish I could have more life, instead.
Which one of your responsibilities do you wish you could get rid of?     paying bills. Not just being financially responsible for them, but actually paying them. It's a pain.
What’s something you don’t like to do that you are still really good at?     making plans to get together
What type of person angers you the most?     bad drivers. I have occasion to drive on a notorious hill in this area fairly often. It is twisty, has soft shoulders and a steep drop-off, is populated by deer and some renegade chickens, and gets FAR more traffic than it was ever designed for. There are 2 lanes on the uphill side and one lane on the downhill side. Pretty much every time I drive there, some other driver makes me angry. They leave their bright lights on until they're aimed right at you before dimming. What's the point of dimming at that point? They don't stay in their lane or even on their "side." They tend to drive either way under or over the posted limit, both of which are dangerous. I live at the bottom of the hill on the city side, and I hear the sirens of EMS and sheriff cars' there, daily. It's awful.
What is missing in your life?     massage, roast beast, and headache-free days
What is your most striking physical attribute?     my eyes are big and blue, with the actual shade being dependent on how I'm feeling. (Especially light blue means a migraine is imminent.)
What has fear of failure stopped you from doing?     writing, for real
Who would you like to please the most?     myself
If you could go back in time and change things, what would you change about the week that just passed?     I would spend more time in the sunshine, even when it's cold. The gray is so pervasive at this time of year that every moment of sunshine should be celebrated!
When you meet someone for the very first time, what do you want them to think about you?    depends on the person and why we're meeting. Most people I want to impress - and here and there I only want to frustrate, confuse, or offend.
Who would you like to forgive?     a friend from college. I know he didn't intend his actions to hurt as much as they did. I'm working on getting over it.
