There was a double-rainbow on Friday night. I was hanging out my living room window taking pictures of it. I didn't find out until later that there was a tornado warning at the time. No harm, no foul.
I've never seen a rainbow as bold as the lower (smaller?) one, nor have I seen this sort of effect, where the sky "beneath" (within?) the rainbow is so distinctly colored:
When I was in the old hometown, I acquired a new chopstick rest for the collection. There seems to be a sub-collection growing, of aquatic chopstick rests. Is that weird?
Sometimes, the mug from which I choose to drink my tea on the weekends is a random choice. Other times, it is a reflection of my mood. On Saturday, it was a clear reflection of my mood:
