straight up

  • What's your middle name? [redacted]
  • Do you have kids? Not that I know of
  • Are you barefooted right now? Yup
  • What's your favorite animal? Pork
  • Do you like country music? Some
  • Name one thing that's happened in your life you wish you could change? A lot of people to whom I am very close are unhappy and/or unhealthy right now
  • Are you in college? No
  • What's your favorite movie? Trust
  • How often do you re-do your Myspace OkCupid profile? I'm slowly but surely dismantling it
  • Is there an umbrella close by you? Probably 20 steps away, in the entry closet
  • Isn't Winnie the Pooh AWESOME? meh. That voice makes me gag, and the sticky-sweetness is too much.
  • Do you believe in gay marriage? Sure
  • Have you ever been out of the country? Not yet
  • Where's your favorite place to buy clothes? Eddie Bauer. When it works, it works.
  • What's the most recent CD you've bought? Nickelback, Silver Side Up
  • Do you like to fish? Nah
  • What color are the walls in your room? Bleghy beigey-whiteish
  • Are you dating anyone? Not in so many words
  • Do you ever want to get married? Who's asking?
  • How many pets do you have? I haven't any
  • What's your favorite color? Black
  • Do you like candles? Some. Strong scents make me head hurt.
  • Name one song that no matter how hard you try, you can't get out of your head: "Grace is Gone" (Dave Matthews Band)
  • What's your favorite TV commercial? there's this one about engine sludge....
  • How long does it take you to get ready to go somewhere? Depends where I'm going. To walk, early in the morning: 15 min. from sleep to the door. To travel for a weekend: 4 hours. Usually somewhere in between.
  • Do you like to read? Very much
  • How old are you? 37, but not for long
  • Do you like dogs? I like the idea of dogs much more than the reality, but I am much better about it than I used to be.
  • If you could live anywhere, where would it be? In a house overlooking the River, with a screened porch, a garage, a basement, and no close neighbors.
  • When is the last time you colored in a coloring book? Probably when my niece was small. It's been a long time.
  • What football team do you support? University of Michigan (don't start with me), in part because they're on TV almost every weekend. My undergrad alma mater doesn't suck as much now as they used to (but they also don't come close to the basketball team, 2-time Division II champs). My law school alma mater's team (the university's team, of course, since lawyers don't play football) was awesome a few years ago but bit the big one last year. My grad alma mater...blows. Professionally speaking, I watch most of the Bears games, but it's more of a car-crash fascination than fandom. And I watch the Packers games so I have some clue whether The Cat will be happy or not the next day.
  • What time do you wake up each morning? Roughly 6:33
  • Do you know anyone who is a Hannah Montana fan? No
  • Are you a funny person? I don't think so, but I guess others feel differently
  • How do you feel about global warming? Hot under the collar
  • What star sign are you? Virgo
  • How do you feel about your best friend? Warm & cuddly
  • Are you hyperactive? No. I am the Taggert of humans.
  • Do you believe that music is your life? No, but I like it a lot and wouldn't really want to do without it.
  • Do you ever dance when no one's looking? No. I feel ridiculous when I do stuff like that. I sing a whole lot when no one's listening, though.
  • Have you ever smoked before? Once, but it didn't fuck me up like I'd hoped.
  • Would you rather be called hot, cute, or awesome? I would prefer 'clever.'
  • Do you prefer ice cream or cake? Ice cream. I've had way too many dreams about cake lately.
  • Have you ever been in serious trouble with the law? Depends on your definition of "serious"
  • Travel by bike or walk? Walk, but not in any crazy sense
  • Do you believe in religion? Sure
  • Are you much more mature than those your own age? Um, no.
