why do they end in a bad place?

1. Where do you go to shop for clothes? Depends on the sort of clothes that I need. Generally: underthings from VS, shirts from JJill, sweaters from Lands' End or Eddie Bauer, Levis jeans, Eddie Bauer trousers and skirts, J.Peterman dresses, and shoes from just about anywhere.
2. Do you buy your own groceries? Yes. I haven't figured out how to accomplish regular eating without it.
3. Do you think people talk about you behind your back? Occasionally, although it doesn't happen nearly as often as my ego might infer.
4. When's the last time you had a sour gummy worm? I've never.
5. What's your favorite fruit? Fresh peaches.
6. If there was a fire, what would be the first thing you would grab? I probably wouldn't take anything. Have you read the lyrics to Your Heart is an Empty Room?
7. Do you have a picture of yourself doing a cartwheel? I think so, but I was about 8 and wearing a bikini that wouldn't cover one hand today, so I don't think I'll prove it.
8. Have you ever tried to build something? All the time when I was a kid. I loved toys that made something, rather than just sitting there.
9. Do you play with Legos? I have, and I would. Don't own any.
10. Do you play with Barbies? God, no.
11. Who's your favorite Disney Princess? I'd rather poke myself in the eye with a fork.
12. Do you have a boyfriend/girlfriend? In a manner of speaking, sort of.
13. Would you rather have blue skin or purple skin? All else being equal, I'll take blue. It suits me.
14. Have you ever gotten a sunburn? Um, yeah.
15. Have you eaten snow? All the time! One of the great joys.
16. Have you watched Star Wars, any of the six? The first three. meh.
17. Do you have a fuzzy pen? No. Why...?
18. Do you fix your bed? Every few days, yup. Not much point when no one's seeing it and time motivation is at a premium.
19. What color are your bedsheets? Dutch blue, as of yesterday.
20. Do you wear slippers? Only when my feet are cold, which happens about 3 months out of the year.
21. What is the coolest lamp you own? This one or the floor lamp that is quite a bit similar, both in brushed nickel.
22. What's your favorite flower? Tulip. The darker the better.
23. Did you go or do you want to go to prom? I did not go. I'd rather not go, at this point, thanks.
24. What does your tissue box look like? The nearest one is dark blue with varying shades of lighter blue sort of abstract flowers that look like amoebae on strings.
25. Did you ever open a lemonade stand? Yes, and it was a colossal failure.
26. Were you or are you in ballet? Ha. No.
27. Do you listen to classical music? Not as often as I should, considering my out-of-control temper of late.
28. What's the longest book you've read? The Brothers K? The Winds of War? Panama Fever?

31. Do you have a "wacky noodle"? Nah, mine's straight-up.
32. Do you have your own pool? I wish. Oh, that probably means 'swimming pool.' I'll take a pool table.

35. What kind of car do you want? Whatever. All that matters is getting there.

38. Do you make presents? I've been known to. I'm a bit lazy, though, so I leave things to the last minute and then end up buying something anyway.
39. Do you make your own jewelry? I've made some jewelry that I wear. More of my jewelry was purchased, though.

42. Do people consider you as smart? Probably.
43. Do you collect anything? Yes. Even the collection of what I collect is odd.

47. Do a lot of your friends have Xanga? I don't know anyone who has Xanga.

50. Do you make your own cards? I've made a few. One of my friends makes beautiful cards, which intimidates me.
51. Have you ever tried gluing your fingers together? No, but I've succeeded anyway.
52. What was the stupidest thing you've done? Nick.
53. How many languages do you know? I'm fluent in one, I can get by in two, and I know enough of another that I wouldn't starve if I was trapped with only those fluent in that one.
