yesterday, today, tomorrow, and beyond

Yesterday

• What time did you wake up? 6:whatever, to retrieve my newspaper
• Did you go to school? No school - Sunday! [I'm writing this on Monday, 9-1-08]
• Did you drive a car? Yes, to Target and back. I needed to pick up a prescription.
• Did you eat pizza? No, but I did have pasta - is that close enough?
• Did you take a shower? Yes
• Who did you hang out with? Just us chickens
• Did something make you mad yesterday? The Cubs are suckin'
• Did you put on makeup? No
• What kind of makeup? N/A
• Did you go shopping? Yes - I went to Target to pick up a prescription
• Did you hang out with your boyfriend/girlfriend? Nope
• How many phone calls did you get? None
• What movies did you watch? No movies
• What TV shows did you watch? US Open tennis, baseball (Cubs v. Phillies), some syndicated Law & Order: Criminal Intent
• Did you play outside? No. It was hot.
• Was yesterday a good day? meh

Today

• Did you go to school? No school - holiday!
• What did you have for breakfast? Frosted Mini Wheats
• Did you walk your dog? I have no dog. I was near a French Bulldog and a Pug which were being walked by a very dysfunctional couple, though.
• What song did you last listen to today? No music at all today. Weird!
• Do you have plans for today? Baseball is on later. There are some clothes to fold. I would like to sleep, eventually.
• If you could go to a movie today, what would you see? It wouldn't really matter what I saw; to be dragged out by someone intent on taking me to a movie would be lovely regardless.
• Has anyone asked you to hang out today? Um, no
• Is it sunny outside? Yup
• What is the temperature outside? 88°F
• Are you expecting a phone call? I would call it "half-expecting"
• Did you play with your pets today? I am pet-free at the moment
• Did you say "I love you" to anyone today? Only in my mind
• Did you eat any candy today? No
• Did you exercise today? Yes - the walkin' buddies and I went at 8:AM. I don't recommend it. The path was full of oddly-dressed weirdos with strange, maladaptive social skills
• What time will you go to bed tonight? Probably pretty early; maybe 9:30 or 10

Tomorrow

• Will you go to school? No school - work for the first time in 12 days
• What time will you wake up? I will get out of bed between 6:30 and 7; beyond that, I'm promising nothing
• What outfit will you wear? Something that will coordinate well with whatever hideous hat is waiting for me in my office. Probably black, with jeans and my new sandals.
• Do you think it will rain tomorrow? According to weather.com, tomorrow's supposed to be just like today: sunny and fuckin' hot
• Are you excited about tomorrow? Not so much. It's going to be a day full of chatter and forced smiles.
• What will you have for lunch tomorrow? PB&J on oat-nut bread, hard-boiled egg, yogurt, & a banana
• Is there something you don't like about tomorrow? Just going to work, and seeing most of the people with whom I work, and being out in the hot
• Will you go to a party tomorrow? In a manner of speaking, yes
• Will you have fun tomorrow? Probably, though it will be against my will {grumble grumble}
• Will you go swimming tomorrow? I wish
• If you could hang out with anyone, who would you hang out with tomorrow? duh
• If it's warm outside tomorrow, what will you do? Regularly scheduled plans
• Will you sing a song tomorrow? Ugh, no, but one will likely be sung to me
• Starting tomorrow, how many days until your birthday? 360-ish

Next week

• Will it be summer vacation? For some kids
• Will you play a sport? I will walk 4/7 days
• Is it someone's birthday next week? More than likely. No, seriously: it's diz' birthday!!! Woot!
• Do you have any doctor/dentist appointments next week? No, but I should schedule one, assuming that I can figure out my new insurance by then
• Will you go shopping next week? Sure. Groceries, if nothing else.
• Will you see your grandparents next week? I hope not. They're all long dead.
• Will you see your cousins next week? No, but I owe email to two of them, so there will be cousin contact
• Will the weather be cold next week? I wish
• Will you have a lot of homework next week? Probably; there is a hideous all-day meeting next Thursday that will make me crazy
• Is anything special happening next week? Beyond that meeting? Yes! The Cat & I are going shopping, or whatever.
• Will you/do you have detention next week? It's not outside of the realm of possibility. I'd imagine I'm back on the shit-list for taking a week off.
• Do you have no set plans for next week? Um, no, as indicated above. This survey is really stretching in places.
• Will you go on a date next week? If the right person asked, I would.
• Are you looking forward to next week? There is no other option
• Will you take more surveys next week? Probably, just because it makes The ironically-named Asking Man a little crazy when I do (though I'm sure {?} it's better than when I post poetry)
