CONFESSIONS

1. Is anything wrong? I need to make dinner and can't figure out what I want. No big tragedy.
2. Do you want to go to college? I consider it sometimes.
3. How many kids do you want to have? eh. Who knows?
4. Do you have a good relationship with your parents? At the moment, yes. By Friday it will be either better or worse.
5. What did you do for your last birthday? I had a quietly stressful week with the 'rents.
6. What were you doing at midnight last night? Sleeping.

8. Last thing you ate/drank? Sour cream & onion potato chips and cold Apricot tea.
9. Do you like peanut butter? Yup
10. Who’s making you feel the way you are right now? I am.

12. Last person to make you mad? Probably someone at work.

14. Have you hugged anyone in the past week? Only mentally.
15. Fun thing to look forward to this or next week? Tomorrow: packing, walking with coworker T, and 4+ hours in the car. This week: sleep, reading (I'm taking two books with me - Loneliness as a Way of Life and Desire: Where Sex Meets Addiction - and we'll see which philosophy wins out), a trip to this place [link died], dinner out with friends, and perhaps a step toward a new career.

19. What do you do after school/work? Usually, I go home. Change into regular clothes. Get something to drink. Sort the mail – real and otherwise. Either walk/shower/change or prepare to do it the following day. Read. Oh, and play with media.
20. Do you know how to swim? Not well. But other things more than compensate.
21. Where were you born? Our local hospital in my hometown.
22. Do you have a crush? Yes.

FRIEND CONFESSIONS

1. Are you jealous of one or more of your friends? My friends are my friends because they are in some ways similar to me and in many ways different from me. “Jealous”? No. Gently envious? Yes, in many, many ways – some of which they are aware, others of which they will never, ever know (if I have any control over it).
2. Have you known any of your friends your whole life? Of my real, close, much-loved friends, the one I’ve known the longest has been part of me since I was 9.
3. Are any of your friends taller than you? I am 5’4”. What do you think? Put another way: few of my friends are not taller than I am!
4. Have you ever been ditched by a friend? Yes. Memorably. Both literally and figuratively.
5. Have you lost or forgotten a friend’s phone number? Of course. But I’m pretty good about that sort of thing.
6. Have you been to most of your friends houses? Yes. Most.
7. Do you love most of your friends? My real friends: yes. But I do appreciate the unexpressed distinctions.

1. Do you play with things when nervous? Not often.

1. Do you currently like/love someone? Yes, unequivocally.

4. You get bored of your girlfriend/boyfriend easily? If I did, they wouldn’t hold the title anymore.
