- Bookends! I need about a dozen. The kind that I want are not the standard (i.e. institutional) version, like these:
'cause they take up more space than I can afford to use.
These are rather fancy, having come from Jefferson's personal library. But they are the right shape...Which is reflected in these, more modern (and obviously inexpensive) bookends:
- Earplugs! Something like this:
...is a bit more fancy than I was thinking. But perhaps there is something designed for noise-dampening, which would also be wearable by a side-sleeper (that's me!).
- A Waring blender.
Nothing better to beat the fuck out of food. Preferably silver, but, hey - whatever!
- Paddywax candles:
scented with limoncello. Which I would think would be uncontrollably flammable, but what do I know?
- Little white socks. The kind that you wear when running, that don't slip down your calves or make a tight ring around under your knee. The brand doesn't matter, as long as the logo doesn't overwhelm the socks. They're just, you know, little white socks. Like these:
or these (Asics):
or these (Nike):
or these (REI):
- Monk, the television series, on DVD - season 4:
and season 5:
and season 6:
- Earrings. Funky silver hoops, garnet (or ruby) studs in white gold, oblong black pearls - anything!
- Glove Me Tender hand lotion from Bath & Body Works:
'cause it feels like heaven on dry hands.
- Headphones. Something that doesn't feel like a pinecone stuck in my ears. I'd love Bose, but I'm also not delusional.
- Awesome bedsheets. High enough thread-count that they feel fantastic, but not so ridiculously high that they're slippery and borderline slimy. Queen-sized, with an extra pair of extra-large pillow cases. Some kind of fantastic, not Amyish color. C06? 90F? 000? [hee hee] (Those colors are here.)
- A date for NYE. The real deal.
- A Pittsburgh Steelers t-shirt. Preferably long-sleeved. I like this one, maybe in a large? I like 'em bulky:
- a decent cell phone & carrier. Ha! Like such a thing exists.
