- What color are your beautiful eyes? Did you inherit them from or pass them on to anyone in your family? My eyes are pretty much pale blue, though they become lighter when I have a migraine. Prevailing theory is that it's due to the decreased blood flow. I'd love to know, if only because it might reveal an answer to why I get - and how to prevent - the headaches.
Everyone in my family has blue eyes. My maternal grandfather's were gorgeous - perhaps the only good thing about him. My brother's are darker and beautiful. (He'd punch me if he knew I'd said that.) My own are somewhere in the middle. - What color eyes would you choose if you could change them? Dark, dark brown
- Do you wear glasses or contacts? What kind? Like 'em or hate 'em? Most of the time I wear soft contacts. They're fine; I've had them since I was in 9th grade, so they're a part of me. I have glasses and wear the ones I've got now more than any I've had before. Dark-rimmed geek-girl glasses. I will never love them, but nor do I hate them like I did when I was a kid.
- Ever had, or contemplated, laser surgery? Happy with the results? I thought about it. My beloved eye doctor told me the potential complications, and I will not do that willingly. My sight is, and comfortable eyes are, way too valuable to me.
- Do you like to look people in the eye, or are you more eye-shy? I've been told that I'm too willing to look people in the eye. Maybe it's the size of mine, but I tend to freak people out when I gaze directly at them. Used to think it was a good thing. I'm starting to realize that too much of anything can overwhelm.
For as you were when first your eye I eyed,
Such seems your beauty still.
[she called it RevGalBlogPals Friday Five, which makes no sense to me. I'll stick with what I think is the original.]
