don't despair - you'll eventually get there

1. What's the remedy for you to stop worrying?
   write it down and set it aside, in some way. Put it in my journal, add it to my to-do list (which, in written form, includes only items that are "to be done at some point not in the immediate future, but if I fail to add them to this list, there is some danger that they will be forgotten, which makes me worry about them - but, once added to this list, can be safely moved out of the 'worry' file"), doodle on a piece of paper and throw away, text message to my email to be dealt with at work (if at home) or at home (if at work), etc.
2. What is your favorite summertime beverage?
   Sand Creek hard lemonade. Or water. Or tea.
3. Do you use any freeware on your computer? If yes, do tell.
   probably not?
4. What is one thing about your home that has to be just so or it drives you crazy when it comes to organization?
   um, I live alone, so if I admit that, it sounds like I'm more than a little crazy. Though I'd imagine at least two of the people who helped me move (Cat?, Shoe?) are chomping at the bit to offer suggestions on this one!
5. Is there a specific subject you're especially curious about? A person? A region of the world? An animal? A field of study?

6. What do you consider your most interesting trait?
   I suppose that the way(s) in which I am 'observant' could reveal something to me, if I knew how or why I am - if I am
7. What is something that really frightens you, and can you trace it back to an event in your life?
   my fear of dogs springs from having been attacked (or at least terribly frightened by) a neighbor's German shepherd when I was around 4 or 5 years old. My fear of heights, though, seems to be experientially groundless.
8. Who do you want to yell at to "get a grip!"?
   only everyone at work, on a rotating basis. They're all bleepin' nuts.
9. What do you wear to particularly look great for a party or event?
   depends on the party or event. I have a few go-to outfits that would be terrible of interchanged for each other. (The funeral skirt, for instance, would not be quite right for a picnic, and the tight capri jeans would crash and burn at a funeral.) One guaranteed hit: my dove gray studded sandals. They're not for everyday, but they are beyond fabulous.
