Our doubts are traitors, and make us lose the good we oft might win, by fearing to attempt.

June 21: unctuous
Now and then she at least pretends to be friendly and to tell some truth, but even the milder of The Terrible Two is, more often than not, an unctuous pain in the ass.
June 22: favonian
Enjoy this favonian weather while you can--by Thursday, the forecast temperatures are over 100 degrees!
June 23: meed
After all that's happened already, I think it's too much to hope that she'll get her true meed for the unethical and borderline criminal actions she's taken.
June 24: deipnosophist
Although the youngster seems shy at the office, over our casual dinner she was proven a delightful wit - a real deipnosophist.
June 25: will-o'-the-wisp
I fervently hope that this opportunity bears fruit and does not turn out to be yet another will-o'-the-wisp; keep your fingers crossed!

There were some big changes at the workplace last week. I spent an alarming amount of time sweating and carrying, squirming between and beneath furniture, and in all ways becoming more and more physically uncomfortable. There is some hope—though not a lot—that things will get better there soon. For now, I'm back on track with normal meals, sleep (sort of), exercise, and the rest of the standard routine. I'll be writing as regularly as ever, too. Time to get back into the swing of things.
     Thanks for being patient.

[the title quotation is by William Shakespeare, from Measure for Measure]
