astrology can clear up or mix up a person

August 21: suborn
Oh, how I wish I could suborn some surreptitious gains to fill my meager coffers!

  1. What is your traditional zodiac sign?
I was born Virgo, though my due date was squarely Leo--and that may be the root cause of all my confusion and unease in life, yes? According to the new conception of the Zodiac, though, I am a Leo!
    Capricorn: Jan. 20-Feb. 16.
    Aquarius: Feb. 16-March 11.
    Pisces: March 11-April 18.
    Aries: April 18-May 13.
    Taurus: May 13-June 21.
    Gemini: June 21-July 20.
    Cancer: July 20-Aug. 10.
    Leo: Aug. 10-Sept. 16.
    Virgo: Sept. 16-Oct. 30.
    Libra: Oct. 30-Nov. 23.
    Scorpio: Nov. 23-29.
    Ophiuchus: Nov. 29-Dec. 17.
    Sagittarius: Dec. 17-Jan. 20.
Finally, according to this chart, I'm a Yang Metal Dog. That couldn't seem much more unlikely!
  2. How often, if ever, do you read your horoscope?
if I see it, I'll read it, but I don't seek it out
  3. Check out the Geek Zodiak: What is your birth year the year of?
    Sweet! I'm Ninja/Samurai. I couldn't be happier.
  4. Which of the merits listed do you think is most accurate to your personality?
    loyalty, for sure
  5. Which of the demerits listed do you think is most accurate to your personality?
    um, violent?
  6. Which single merit or demerit listed for your sign do you think is most inaccurate to your personality?
unemotional! hee hee. Or maybe deferential. Neither of those are terribly native aspects of the real me.
[you know where - originally from here; the title quotation is by Markku Siivola, and reads in its entirety: "Astrology can clear up or mix up a person as much as any other psychological, philosophical or religious mirror, a looking glass in the endless mirror hall of life."]
