depends where I'm headed. I tend to be late for work pretty much every day, but on time or early for almost everything else. Strange, hmm?

someone I know and generally respect is often late in one way that affects me, but on time or early in a related manner. Since it would require no greater output of effort to avoid inconveniencing me, I don't understand why she doesn't bother.

I was late for a wedding once, but since I couldn't stand the bride, it didn't particularly bother me. She made a point to call me out for it, though, which makes it all the more obvious why I couldn't stand her. How had she noticed that I was late? Because my date was also late, and she was more focused on him than she was on her new--and ill-fated--spouse.

the promptness isn't a problem, but perkiness is a punching offense

I only live about 6 minutes from work (on a good day), so the five-minutes-from-work point would fall roughly at the worst intersection in the county for multi-vehicle accidents. Turtles be damned!
