nothing. I'm a fan of complete and total silence. Barring that (since I, harrumph, seem required to live in society), 'natural' noises are good: wind. Leaves. Water. Even traffic, within reason. - What's a more annoying sound: car alarms or leaf-blowers?
leaf-blowers. I think they're ridiculous, lazy, and horrible. A sure sign of the apocalypse. Car alarms at least serve some purpose, although they're rarely necessary around these parts (nor used properly). - What's a sound most people seem to like but you hate?
