You wanna be where you can see Our troubles are all the same

  • What is on your mind right now?
death (I'm watching CSI), a vague headache that's creeping down to the middle of my back, and toenail polish
  • Do you know anyone who has attended Harvard University?
    nope
  • How many books are in the room you’re in?
probably 100, maybe 150. It's a temporary relocation caused by my painting project.
  • Do you save at least 15 percent of your income?
I save some, but not that much. Intentionally.
  • When was the last time you had a rainy day spent at home?
last weekend? Pretty recent, anyway. A lovely day.
  • When was the last time you stayed home from school/work?
I've had a bunch of medical and dental appointments lately, which have me home early (since there's no point in going back to work for a half hour or whatever once they're through). As far as actually taking a sick day, though? It's probably been a year, maybe longer.
  • Do you write “yes” or “no” answers to surveys or do you explain more?
I try to make them longer if I can, but some are written as black/white (see, e.g., "Harvard")
  • Is there any type of medicine you can’t take? For what reason?
I'm allergic to all narcotics, and nasal sprays give me nosebleeds and headaches
  • Do you have a favorite pair of pajamas? What do they look like?
I was just thinking about this earlier today. I have two favorites, and they're both irreplaceable. There's a summer pair, which are men's Jockey PJ pants, and they aren't made anymore. I bought them to take to Dallas a million (or 9?!) years ago. They're navy blue with white pinstripes, and have several large holes and one cuff that's hanging by threads. The winter pair came from JC Penney, and around here those are all out of business. They're also men's PJ pants, flannel and very thick & fuzzy, gray buffalo checks. I'm pretty sure that neither is an overly flattering look on me, but I love them both so I don't care at all.
  • Would you rather have potato or chicken noodle soup if you had to?
both are delicious, but I would choose the chicken over the potato
  • Do you believe that when a person appears in your dreams, that person wants to see you?
no, I would take that to mean that I am thinking about them--that I want to see them, or have some unfinished business with them
  • When’s the last time you saw your mom?
last Wednesday, though we've texted quite a bit since then. Our usual dinner plans were called off this week on account of casino-ing (on their part).
  • What is one food you could eat for a month, straight, and not get sick of?
not for every meal, but I have been in a homemade pizza phase lately and it hasn't gotten old yet
  • Have you ever spray painted something about your love somewhere?
    do tattoos count?
  • Do you live in a town where basically everyone knows everyone else?
I live in what is considered a small city where I am recognized regularly by people I haven't seen in multiple decades. It's not quite "Cheers" but it's still pretty small-town.
