put it into flight

His name I wrote
on a green sheet of paper
and set it beside me.
I picked it up again,
folded it in half.
Opening it up,
I matched the upper right edge
with the crease
and pressed it into place.
And then the left.
I folded it over on itself,
matched the new edge
with the crease
and pressed it into place.
And then the left.
I adjusted the flaps,
forming the base
that it sat on.
I took it in my fingers
and put it into flight.
