deadlines just aren't real to me until I'm staring one in the face

1. Do you buy things when you want them or wait for sales? 
    I like a sale as much as anyone, but I'm more impulsive than patient when it comes to things.
2. Do you think time moves slowly or quickly?  
    not really either, except during an MRI when it seems to move backward
3. How often do you spend time alone? 
    most days
4. What’s something that has changed in the last month? 
    I have a houseguest
5. What’s the best part of your job, profession? 
    drafting. Writing a document that is effective, comprehensible, spirited, and concise.    
    And research. Digging into contentious issues, finding an answer.
6. How many pens do you have? 
    I have 5 "nice pens" and probably 100 regular ones (including highlighters and Sharpies). The nice ones were all gifts or prizes.
7. What are your healthiest habits? 
    eating fruit, drinking water, and sleeping
8. Do you have a favorite postage stamp? 
    the Chinese New Year series
9. Who did you talk to the most this week? 
    with 2 or 4 legs? D, or S - as is often the case.
10. What’s on your bedside table? 
    lamp, lip balm, eyeglasses, bottle of water, hand lotion, Kindle
11. How often do you try something new? 
    all the time - new movies, poetry, snacks at KT, work topics...
12. What are some of your grocery list staples? 
    Chobani mango-on-the-bottom Greek yogurt, carb-balanced tortillas, breakfast-sliced Canadian bacon, bananas, Thomas' English muffins
13. Do you have a favorite poet? 
    no
14. What interesting fact do you know? 
    nobody actually cares about anyone else's "Wordle" score
15. Do you fold laundry right away or do it later? 
    later, always
