1. Do you ever doubt the existence of others than you? I'm pretty sure that's one of the defining elements of dissociative disorders... and no, I don't.
2. On a scale of 0-5, how afraid of the dark are you? if 5 is the most scared that one can be, I'm a 1. Most of the time the dark is soothing to me, except when I'm in an unfamiliar place (such as a hotel) or I'm already agitated.
I was reading recently about HSPs—highly sensitive persons—and I'm pretty sure that I am one. From most lists of HSP traits, many are strong in me: reflection (to the point of overthinking); hearing "don't take it so personally" a lot; being at home inside my head; details are my friend; sensitive, intuitive, generous; overwhelmed more often and by more things than others (sometimes to tears); prefer WFH; easily startled; seeking meaning & purpose.
