15., or, "you can't..."

Warm for 27 November (Happy Birthday, Peter! You're still just a pup.), and light rain: the perfect day for a drive. I've had two of those so far. This song accompanied, from the mix. A wonderful song for playin' loud and screamin' along. If you haven't heard it--seek it out. If nothing else, email me at the address in the footer and I'll see about hooking you up with the MP3.

And now, I'm off to attack the stack of photographs in the office, extricating my old life from 'our' old life one image at a time.

One more thing: Bon Voyage, Robert. When you're in the neighborhood, I owe you dinner, ¿sí? And I'd like to pay.

I see you falling
How long to go, before you hit the ground?
You keep on screaming
Don't you see me here?
Am I a ghost to you?

Now your grip's too strong
You can't catch love with a net or a gun

Gotta keep faith that your path will change
Gotta keep faith that your love will change tomorrow
Tomorrow
Tomorrow

Why are you phoning?
What am I to do when you're miles away?
You're always calling
From the darkest rooms...
And we're both scared

Now your grip's too strong
You can't catch love with a net or a gun
Gotta keep faith that your path will change
Gotta keep faith that your love will change

Now your grip's too strong
Can't catch love with a net or a gun
Gotta keep faith that your path will change
Gotta keep faith that your love will change,
Tomorrow...
I'm just out of your range
Tomorrow
All your suffering's in vain
Tomorrow
la la la

Now your grip's too strong
You can't catch love with a net or a gun
Gotta keep faith that your path will change
Gotta keep faith that your love will change tomorrow

I'm out of your range
tomorrow
All your suffering seems vain--
Change
Tomorrow--
Some forgiveness now
Tomorrow--
Love's no sacred cow...

[James, "Tomorrow," from The Best of James or Getting Away With It...Live or Wah Wah or Whiplash. If I had to guess, I'd say I chose the version from Getting Away with It {which is also available on DVD}, but my mix is in the car and I'm not running downstairs in the rain just to figure that out! In case you can't tell, I quite like James.]
