on being a utility infielder of sorts

I just don't feel much like playing lately. I can't sit it out entirely, but I'm definitely on the sidelines, trying to be as inconspicuous as possible. To use the very tired refrain, "I just don't think I can do this."

Sometimes, though, you just have to, even when you're not feeling it. Isn't that kind of like what Julius Erving said? "Being a professional is doing the things you love to do on the days you don't feel like doing them." Sort of like being an adult: it means being there, even when the last thing in the world you want to do is to be there.

So, until I can come up with something better, this is all I've got: I've read some books and watched some movies lately. Let me know if you want to know more. If not, just see what a weird combination of things I've sought for entertainment purposes over the past month or so..
