  34. Allergic to? Yellow stuff that grows in fields. Mold. Narcotics. And ricotta cheese.
  35. Favorite fruit? Fresh peaches and raspberries, preferably at the same time
  36. Have you watched Sex and the City? Yes. Oh, wait: watched? I thought it said something else. No, I haven’t.
  37. Baseball hat or toque? On me? No. I’m more the straight- but short-brimmed type, or a stupidly-curved cowboy hat model. Not that I wear hats....
  38. Do you shampoo or soap up first in the shower? Shampoo. Soap. Rinse hair. Repeat shampoo. Wash back. Shave. Rinse hair. Condition. Wash face. Rinse hair.
  39. Wet the toothbrush or brush dry with the toothpaste? Dry? Ouch! Wet, always.
  40. Pen or pencil? Pen. Pencil only as necessary.
  41. Have you ever gambled at a casino? No – danger, Will Rogers!
  42. Have you thrown up on a plane? No, but my second flight (first commercial flight) was a close one.

  44. Have you thrown up at work? Yes, though it’s been many years, many jobs, and many hangovers since then.
  45. Do you scream on roller coasters? No, but that’s because I never get within 100 yards of them.
  46. How many shoes do you have? 68. (That’s 29 pairs of shoes and 5 pairs of boots.)
  47. Who was your first roommate? Putting aside my sister (which is generally my desire) – I probably have to say Christine, the perkiest damned person on the planet.
  48. What alcoholic beverage did you drink when you got drunk for the first time? Beer
  49. What was your first job? Clerk in a bakery
  50. What was your first car? a little American hatchback
  51. When did you go to your first funeral? I was 7; it was my paternal grandmother’s.
  52. How old were you when you first moved away from your hometown? 22
  53. Who was your first grade teacher? Miss S.
  54. Where did you go on your first airplane ride? Up?! In a 6-seater, with a boy whose dad owned the plane (who wanted desperately to impress me), and his best friend (who I desperately wanted to impress), and a pilot (who probably wanted to shoot the lot of us), we flew over my house. It was very cool, terribly romantic, and a failed plot to buy my affection.
  55. When you snuck out of your house for the first time, who was it with? 2:00-man, when I was 21 and engaged.
  56. Who was your first best friend and are you still friends with [her]? Jennifer. We see each other when I’m in the hometown, and we’d both say we’re friends, but it’s a stretch. I think we still send Christmas cards, if that’s saying anything.
  57. Where did you live the first time you moved out of your parents’ house? In a house that I sublet for $75/mo. from some really shitty friends of mine with whom I drank way too much, freshman year. They all moved home and basically wanted a house-sitter, so I was that. It worked out OK for me...and for 2:00-man.
  58. Who is the first person you call when you have a bad day? Fluffy
  59. Whose wedding were you in the first time you were a bridesmaid or a groomsman? My sister's first
  60. What is the first thing you do in the morning? Moan, in my head, “just ten more minutes....”
  61. What was the first concert you attended? [ ]
  62. First tattoo or piercing? My ears – crooked – when I was 13.
  63. First celebrity crush? No clue. I was pretty sheltered for a long time. Maybe Simon LeBon.
