In commenting news, I'm thinking the incompatibility stems from my stubborn use of the old Blogger template. I HATEHATEHATE the idea of switching up to the new one after all this time (and the struggles I've gone through to retain my design), but seriously, I've already spent the money, so I'll try the switch tonight and we'll see what happens.
