- Will you be looking for a new job? Am I ever not?
- Will you be looking for a new relationship? Er, maybe?
- New house? Yup
- What will you do differently in '10? In all seriousness, I'm trying to write better. I mean, my handwriting has become really atrocious, and I'm trying to clean it up. It's not a resolution, really, but just the continual improvement plan.
- New Year's resolution? Erk. Not reading ahead, obviously. I try not to do resolutions.
- What will you not be doing in '10? Paying student loans! Woohoo!
- Any trips planned? I'm receiving, not sending, thus far. I have the feeling that I might make it out to NY (and if I do, I'm SO going to Montgomery!), and maybe OK...unless I can convince Heidi to meet me in Miami!
- Wedding plans? There are no weddings on the horizon of which I am currently aware.
- What's on your calendar? Shopping tomorrow with Shoe. Haircut appointment on Friday. Something with the Cat & the artcat during January.
- What can't you wait for? Friday, for different reasons.
- What would you like to see happen differently? I'd love to see work begin an hour or two later in the morning. Seems unlikely.
- What about yourself will you be changing? Clothes.
- What happened in '09 that you didn't think would ever happen? Paying off those student loans.
- Will you be nicer to the people you care about? No, I plan to punch them in the face each time I see them. Duh?
- Will you dress differently this year than you did in '09? Yup. I'm sneaking away from the uniform.
- Will you start or quit drinking? I plan to drink excessively.
- Will you better your relationship with your family? Despite a campaign from someone with whom I share space in the employment zone - no, probably not. I'm good with those that matter, and those that don't, do not.
- Will you do charity work? Unlikely.
- Will you go to bars? Yes, and I will drag yon Cat with me. hee hee hee
- Will you be nice to people you don't know? Doesn't sound much like me, either. Hmm.
- Do you expect '10 to be a good year for you? Yes. Always the optimist. Har!
- How much did you change from this time last year til now? I'm not sure it can be expressed quantitatively. I feel immeasurably different.
- Do you plan on having a child? Considering recent conversations: HA! Not if I can help it, and if I do, at least three people will NEVER know it.
- Will you still be friends with the same people you are friends with now? Yes, and then some.
- Major lifestyle changes? probably not.
- Will you be moving? Is this different from "new house"?
- What will you make sure doesn't happen in '10 that happened in '09? certain specific past mistakes
- What are your New Years Eve plans? I stayed home, relaxed, and got some good sleep. It was fine.
- Will you have someone to kiss at midnight? I could've, but didn't. S'not so bad.

- What was an unexpected obstacle? ex-friends and equine spouses of others
- Pick three words to describe 2009: "November was wack"
- Pick three words your spouse would use to describe your 2009 (don’t ask them; guess based on how you think your spouse sees you): wow, that's discriminatory, isn't it?
- Pick three words your spouse would use to describe their 2009 (again, without asking): since I haven't a spouse: grrr
- What were the best books you read this year? Hang the DJ: An Alternative Book of Music Lists, Dearest Creature, and Nothing but a Smile

- In what way(s) did you grow spiritually? less time spent picking myself apart for things that are greater than me

- What was the biggest thing you learned this past year? that some people are, far from being "less than you'd thought they were," utterly beneath contempt. I wish I could wish her away, not only from myself (in my personal history) but from the people she pretends to care about.
- Create a phrase or statement that describes 2009 for you: "whatever we are, we are"
- Three things that have changed since the beginning of the year: oh, during 2009? attitude toward work, relationship with delivery guy, and perspective re: some people who are acquaintances but not friends
- Three things that didn’t change: affection for the Lickster (mostly brotherly), taste in music (still all over the map), and need for a new camera

- I am so embarrassed that I: stopped walking with the walking buddies when I was sick in July and never started up again

- The biggest psychological difference between me last December and this December is: in some ways I was more lonely this year

- Why did I spend even two minutes: trying to crochet?!
- I should have spent more time: tra la la~"should" is not such a welcome word in my vocabulary

- I will never regret buying: this computer, or the plane tickets
- I worried: about being good enough for SCH
- I didn’t: realize that I'm good enough. Period.
- My fookin' family just about drove me crazy.
- The most relaxing place I went was: Cat- and Beastville.
- Why did I: not try harder to like the other nephew? (Don't worry; I already know the answer to that one.)
- The best thing I did for someone else was: putting together some music a couple of days before a wedding.
- The best thing I did for myself was: allocating time and money for monthly massages.
- The best thing someone did for me was: telling me, seriously, that I write well.
- The one thing I’d like to do again, but do it better, is: wow the fuck out of the judge at/after/because of/thanks to jury duty.
