it's not what a movie is about, it's how it is about it

This is an update of a post that I've done a couple of times before (in 2005 and 2007). I've been watching a lot of movies lately--and they've been really, really dark. I need more happy in my life. Going over this list again is a way of seeking more of that out, again.

This is the AFI's (American Film Institute) 100 Years...100 Laughs list, originally aired in 2000.
