I have this disease late at night sometimes, involving alcohol and the telephone

1. If you could be any animal, what would it be?  a big orange cat

2. Describe yourself in three words: curious, independent, and patient

3. What is your dream job?  research assistant

Bluets
4. What was the last non-fiction book you read?  I'm currently reading Bluets by Maggie Nelson. It is perhaps nonfiction? If I were tasked to classify it, I would certainly place it somewhere in the 800s - but also not in the 811s, which was implied to me before I bought it. It is not poetry. Review may be forthcoming.

5. What freedoms are you grateful for?  no quartering, right to redress, and the freedom to go outside alone (as a female)

6. Give a few words of advice to someone younger: maximize your retirement savings as soon as possible; a few good-quality clothes are better than heaps of cheap, stylish crap; drink lots of water and use sunscreen and lip balm; when in doubt, read; and never brag about being young - you're not as clever as you might think

7. Write your favorite recipe from memory:  graham cracker crumbs, sugar & soft butter, mixed & pressed into pan. Top with mixture of cream cheese, white vanilla and whipped cream. Top with mixture of milk chocolate pudding and whipped cream.

8. What is your favorite guilty pleasure?  staying up late

9. Do your actions match your words?  as much as anyone's can. When they don't, it is more about being prevented by others than stopping myself from acting.

10. Are you outgoing or shy?  both. I am introverted, which is a trait that manifests as shyness sometimes. However, with people that I know well I can be quite outgoing - even a chatterbox.
