small differences come out like stars

Something lasts
as long as
it's repeated,

as long as
it's repeated as
long.

One works harder
at first
to make it
last,

noticing less and less
in the middle

until small differences
come out like stars.

The more often
it is said, thought, done,

the more
there
it becomes

solid
            transparent

an echo
not a voice

a given
not a choice.

The more there is,
the less we need to.
