Happy people don't have to understand other people. Some call this total
freedom.
To others it's ignorance, edging into sin—the source of all society's woes.
But happy people don't need to listen to anyone. I am my own planet in a
solar system
of neighboring planets similar enough to mine, all circling a divine sun. Perhaps
farther planets circle many more suns, but such mysterious things beyond
my control are no real concern of me and mine.
And for a time all goes relatively well. Until war, once again, arises between
the happy and the unhappy people. The former try to convince the happy
people that they are not truly happy, only ignorant, selfish, indifferent.
But the happy people, far less conflicted and stressed, usually win. Unless
they allow themselves to become tainted and believe maybe they aren't
so happy, maybe they've been living a lie their whole lives at the expense
of others less happy than them.
Typically, then, only two options remain: to become deeply sad, or happier
than you've ever been!
