    The current chair of the cataloging committee of which I am a member has asked me to consider accepting nomination for the position that she holds.
    A compliment, certainly, but not an option that I would exercise. I do not hold the degree that I consider necessary to executing the duties appropriately, and I have absolutely no interest in "leading" this group, however nominally.
    Still, it was a nice vote of confidence.
