'tis strange what a man may do, and a woman yet think him an angel

  1. To whom did you last give the finger? it wasn't exactly the finger, but I did share a gesture of "what the fuck?!" with another driver today on my return commute, in response to her choice to take over the intersection at ~15 mph facing a yellow light, and, in so doing, leaving not only me but another driver behind me exposed to the red light, turning. Yellow--the color that the light had turned before she entered the intersection--means "stop", not "creep through at a snail's pace."

  2. If you had 1,000 dollars and HAD to spend it, what would you buy? All but a few accessories in the camera kit that I want. If I couldn't go over $1k, I would buy books and clothes. I have a sudden urge for boots.

  3. What was the last beverage you spilled on yourself? tea. It happens probably once every couple of weeks. That's the danger of waking as early as I do.

  4. When was the last photograph you took? What was it of? on Monday evening, I took a picture of an infant garment at Target, in order to ask one of my friends WTF it was. (The mom-to-be with whom I was shopping could not identify it either, so don't think I'm the only weird one.)

  5. Who was the last person to smoke a cigarette in your presence? no clue. It doesn't happen very often.

  6. What animal did you last pet or hold? baby kitten!

  7. What was the last superstitious thing you did? grabbed a screw. Gotta get 'em when you can.

  8. What was the last text message you received? "errrr.... i have alot to tell ya!"

  9. Berleen has decided to buy twelve goats. If she trades three for some awesome pot, loses one while she was stoned, what do you think she did with the rest? gyros for everyone!

  10. What was the last musical instrument played in your presence? piano, by the PNut

  11. What was the last note that you wrote on your hand? it was probably a phone number. I'm not a big hand-writer, and the only reason I can think of to do it is if it was absolutely necessary.

  12. Kimber announced that she was born on another planet. Which one do you think it was and why? I haven't the faintest idea, since I'm not acquainted with Kimber. One of my peeps told me today that she really, really wants to fly, though, so if she were from another planet it would either be Pluto (with a relative gravity of .067)--though I realize that it has been un-planet-ized--or Mercury (relative gravity of .378). Mars has a lower relative gravity than does Mercury, but I refuse to believe that Farmer E is from Mars.

  13. What are you wearing as you answer these ridiculously stupid TT questions? black cami & blue PJ pants. I look like a bruise, and the mere thought makes me smile.

[from The Cat, who got it here; title quotation by William Makepeace Thackeray, from The History of Henry Esmond]

  1. "Gyros for everyone" made me snort loudly, and receive consequent odd looks from my family. I'll post a video tomorrow that will explain (a little).
